Full Time Boat Crew – Seasonal (March – November)

Based at Poole Quay

To work and assist passengers on board ferries in and around Poole Harbour

Hours: 8.15am – 5.30pm (can vary)

• ·       Work as part of a team.

• ·       Preparation of boats each day.

• ·       Man gangways.

• ·       Secure boats to Quayside & Gangways, using ropes.

• ·       Give safety announcements – commentaries over P A system.  Serve refreshments – teas & coffees.

• ·       Evening work available.

• ·       Relevant training courses can be undertaken, the company will provide where necessary.

• ·       Holidays are on a pro-rata basis.

Successful applicant needs to be an outgoing, hard working and enthusiastic person, who is willing to learn new skills to become part of a team.  The individual would need to be self motivated and able to take instruction.  Previous experience on board boats or working with boats would be a great advantage, however full training would be given in all aspects of working on board boats, to the right applicant.
